Hi, I’m Emma!

I live in Northborough, MA with my husband and our two teens. For over a decade, I’ve had the joy of photographing seniors, families, and professionals across the MetroWest and Central Massachusetts area.

I am a scientist by training and I have always been inspired by the beauty of nature, not only in grand sweeping views but also in the smallest of details. It is not uncommon for my family to lose me on hikes because I have stopped to literally to smell the roses, admire the patterns in the rocks, or the reflections in the water.

In my daily life, I embrace mindfulness and slowing down. Mindfulness helps you to notice and appreciate the sounds and smells around you, and experience the colors, shapes, and textures that surround us. When I pick up my camera, I instinctively slow down as I survey the world through my view finder. I look for and find beauty everywhere and in everyone.

During a family session, there are precious moments when everyone is laughing and having fun, as well as during the quiet moments when the little ones need a reassuring hug from mom or dad. I capture those fleeting chapters in time so that you can relive those moments for years to come. When working with teens, especially with shy ones, my goal is to create a relaxed space where they can let their guard down, have fun, and see just how genuinely awesome they truly are.
