Answers to the questions clients ask before any session with Emma Fung Photography in Northborough, MA: where we shoot, rain, booking, delivery, prints and lighting. Each session page also has questions of its own: seniors, families, headshots and events.
Do you photograph at my home?
Yes. Many sessions take place at client homes and backyards in the towns I serve, as well as at parks, gardens, town commons and churches. Headshots are usually taken in my home studio. See Where I Shoot.
Can I choose my own location?
Yes. You can pick a place that matters to you, or choose one of the spots on Where I Shoot. If a location charges a permit or session fee, that fee is paid by you, in addition to my session price.
What happens if it rains?
How do I book, and how does the deposit work?
Send an inquiry through the contact form, or call or text me at (508) 690-0091. For senior, family, event, and headshot sessions, a $100 non-refundable deposit is due when your date is confirmed. If weather affects an outdoor session, we will reschedule at no charge and your deposit carries over.
How long until I get my photos?
Senior and family photos are ready in 2-3 weeks, event photos in 2-3 weeks, and headshots in 1 week. You receive them in an online gallery.
Do you offer prints and other products?
I partner with professional print services and can help you choose the right sizes and products for your needs. When you print through me, I make sure the colors in your digital image are accurately portrayed in the final print. Get in touch for pricing on individual prints and packages.
Do you use natural light or studio lighting?
I love combining artificial light with natural daylight to shape and balance a scene while keeping an organic, realistic look. Natural light is great for beautiful backdrops, but it can be unpredictable, often leaving deep shadows on faces or washing out the sky.
By adding subtle, professional studio lighting outdoors, I am able to soft-fill those shadows and balance the background. The result is rich color, clear detail, and flattering light on you, no matter what the weather is doing.
